Our
Team:
 Dr Philip Tom
was born and raised in Nuuanu . He graduated from
Roosevelt High School, received his dental science
degrees from the University of the Pacific in 1981.
He has since practiced dentistry at the
Strong-Carter Dental Clinic for Children in Kaimuki,
Santa Clara Valley Medical in California,
Kaumakapili Church and private practice.
He received his training in dental implants in 1986,
and is a member of the American Association of
Implant Dentists since 1994, American Dental
Association , Hawai'i Dental Association , Leeward
Prosthodontic Study Club, past president of the
Hawaii Chinese Civic Association, Assistant Scout
Master Troop 201.
Dr. Russell Tasaka was raised in Honolulu and
attended Punahou.
He received his bachelor degree in biology at the
University of Hawaii. In 1989 he received a DMD from
Oregon Health Sciences University.
Currently he serves on the board of the Academy of
General Dentistry and is a member of Honolulu County
Dental Society, Leeward Prosthodontic Study
Club,Hawaii Dental Association and American Dental
Association.
Dr. Trang Le has been practicing general and
cosmetic dentistry for more than ten years.
Her specialty is gentle dentistry and she warmly
welcomes new patients who are not up-to-date with
their dental care. Dr. Le received her
doctorate in Dental Surgery (DDS) from the
University of California, San Francisco, and has
advanced residency training in cosmetic and
restorative dentistry, periodontics, fixed and
removable prosthodontics and oral surgery. She
is fluent in English and Vietnamese
